As a kid, Legacia's founder loved recording his grandparents on video, interviewing them like a journalist to salvage fading memories. Looking back, he wishes a tool like Legacia.bio had existed then — so he could have captured more than fragments and kept them alive forever.

The real spark came later, watching his own dad age and prompted to preserve his life story. Professional biographers charged rates too high for a family book, so he waited — until his dad's memory faded faster than expected.

Desperate, he sought tools simple enough for non-tech-savvy users: pointed questions — not generic ones — to save memories, jog recall, and gently train the brain without stress. It needed to craft polished narratives, stripping redundancies and hesitations into something truly memorable. Finding nothing ideal, he built Legacia.bio.
